Looking for SEO Specialist (Part-time) - B2B marketing agency for technology sector | London | Now

Looking for SEO Specialist (Part-time)

If you love problem solving, analysis and strategy, and are looking to apply these talents to SEO and content marketing, we want you!

What's the deal?

Now|Comms is an agile marketing agency focused on B2B. Typically we help innovative tech companies communicate new, often complex, ideas to customers in markets like digital identity, IoT, green tech and eLearning. We build websites, create content and manage digital marketing programmes for big businesses and start-ups.

One of our most important functions that we deliver for clients is Search Engine Optimisation. When done right, it’s one of the biggest drivers of business growth and we can’t get enough of it. As part of the team, you’ll be taking the lead on SEO projects for clients and for NowComms, recommending, implementing and reporting on optimisations that increase organic visibility and gain new leads from search engines results pages.

Who should apply?

The SEO Specialist position calls for a motivated, data-driven and extremely detail-oriented person. You love to think creatively and test new ideas, but you ground this in the belief that the best strategic decisions are backed by the data in front of you. You’ve got time management down to a fine art, and are comfortable working on multiple client projects at the same time with the wider agency team.

Above all though, you think the best marketing is founded on great SEO, and are passionate about developing search engine relevant content. If this sounds like a job that fits you to a T, let’s talk!

What will I be doing?

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Successfully executing SEO tactics for clients and for NowComms: including keyword research, evaluating content and meta data, technical SEO, link building and campaign performance tracking.
  • Creating content strategies for clients and for NowComms in conjunction with the wider agency team.
  • Providing conversion-focused analysis and planning of site strategy.
  • Continually evaluate and improve effectiveness of campaigns through keyword ranking, geo-targeting, conversion rates, search engine referrals, site traffic and backlinks.

Job skills and requirements:

You’ll often hear the phrase “The best SEO tool is your eye,” and we wholeheartedly agree.

Experience with the systems we use (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Screaming Frog and Majestic) is preferred, so is experience in our key markets mentioned above, and/or experience with SEO in one or more European language.

However, our only real asks are that you have at least 12 months of experience in SEO-relevant roles and that you can demonstrate strong analytical skills and strategic thinking ability.

Work from anywhere, anytime

We think of Ealing and West London as our home, but over the course of the pandemic we’ve learned to work from anywhere and we kind of like that. Right now our team is working in London, Australia, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Scandinavia.

People work best on different schedules, so we’ll figure out how best to get you working on your schedule. This is a part-time role, and ideally you’re looking to work 2 or 3 days of work per week.

Salary: £28,000-£33,000 pro rata

How to apply

Send us a great CV with a proper note that lets us know what’s awesome about you.

Tell us about your experience with SEO: what are you good at and your proudest SEO successes so far.

Show us some of your stuff. It doesn’t matter if it’s not for the B2B market – after all business people are people too!

Detail the nitty-gritty, and explain how your attention to detail and natural ability to get things done will help us deliver measurable results for our clients.

I think these guys do a great job and so does my wife.
