Let’s call a spade a spade: There’s no get-rich-quick scheme when it comes to marketing, nor should you take any ‘get customers in five easy steps!’ fad seriously. So why on earth would anyone bring the same cookie-cutter approach to marketing solutions!? That’s why the NowComms method involves collaborating regularly with the client to develop a bespoke marketing strategy.

The NowComms Method

We start our initiatives with a bang, with our unique marketing #hackdays. In a simple, one-day workshop, our cross-functional team will work alongside a client to map out clear and tailored marketing objectives. 

We don’t like abstract targets, especially ones that don’t even bother to explain how they can be achieved (“We’re going to double sales this year!” That’s lovely Mr Manager, but how?). We tackle ambiguity by setting clear and measurable KPIs during our hackdays, and establish stakeholder buy-in for them there and then. That way, everyone is on the same page when it comes to marketing strategy and planning. 

We often find it fruitful to hold additional hackdays every few months, to review what we’ve achieved in the previous stretch, and to plan what to do next. This gives us the opportunity to alter and optimise a strategy as needed, and enable us to be reactive to external factors such as pertinent industry news. Everything we plan is achievable in the time given, and we’ll often include stretch goals for when we’re ahead of schedule.

Nail it, then scale it

Once we’re clear on our objectives, armed with a bursting portfolio of brand ideas we’ve cooked up, we’ll get moving on our schedule of work. Whether it’s a new website, or a compelling piece of content to fuel sales pipelines, we make sure we test everything as we go, feeding all of our findings back to our clients. 

The end result? Well, by taking a collaborative and measured approach we’re able to rigorously test our output in the desired market and make informed actionable next steps. This gives us, and our clients, the luxury of data to back-up important decisions and identify new areas of opportunity when scaling up our efforts.
